BROOKLYN!
I can’t make this stuff up!
It was B’s Kindergarten “graduation” on Thursday and while they don’t have a formal ceremony for them, they do have an awards celebration.
Well, I’m one proud momma to say that not only did she get an award for the #bookit reading months, girlfriend SERIOUSLY was given the FASHIONISTA award by her teacher for her class!!!!
You know I talk about her style often! AND, you know how I have to try my hardest to let her be her!! EEEEEEK, is it hard some mornings. Like the morning of her last day of school. I talked her into this cuuuuuute pink dress. Which she paired with one of the scarves from her collection. (Yes, seriously, the girl has more scarves than I do! I think we buy a scarf every time we go shopping! lol We are starting a scarf allowance next fall.)
If you don’t know this about me, I seriously have an OCD to matching everything.
I match everything I can. #forreals #itsbad
So, trust me when I say it’s not easy for me to let her go to school like this.
BUT, letting her express herself is FAR more important than catering to my OCDness.
So, let’s take a look at some the reasons I think she got this award!
In her best JOEY impersonation, “Could I BEEEEEEE wearing any more jewelry?”
She LOVED dressing up on our cruise!!!
Her normal park attire is a t, shorts and tall boots. lol
AND, these…..
She’s funny. She’s independent. She’s a tomboy-girlie-girl just like her mom!
Congrats B!
(And, thanks Miss Howard for the perfect award!)
