We had a great Thanksgiving yesterday! Just a few of us at our house. I got in a healthy breakfast of eggs and Shakeo, got in my workout and no seconds at dinner! So, I enjoyed without over-indulging 🙂
And, here’s the only pic I managed to get 🙂 She spent most of the day in sweatpants and a Sioux t but when I asked her if she wanted to put something nicer on for our company, she came out in this 🙂 #toocuteforwords
And, for this week’s Fit Friday post, I thought I would share how much my body hurts just 4 days into my new program lol! It’s a good hurt ~ you know that feeling when you know you’ve been working out hard. And, what’s exciting to me is that I feel like this without even touching a weight! It’s just been with my own body weight and some seriously strong moves!
And, my inspiration board for day 4. I. Love. This. Eliminate what doesn’t help you evolve. It’s not an easy thing to do ~ heck, it’s not even an easy thing to recognize but when you realize what’s holding you back from becoming the person you know you can be…the person you want to be…it becomes easier and more necessary to do it and do it soon. I spent a lot of my life waiting for tomorrow or Monday or the beginning of a new month. And, lately I find myself “waiting” again. But, know that the timing will never be perfect. We will never feel completely ready for change. We have to make a choice and eliminate that which doesn’t help us grow.
Never mind the 3 fingers. I can’t count. It was day 4 with Power Sculpt.
These workouts are longer than I’m used to but they go super fast with 3-minute rounds and 30 seconds of break in between each!
And, this fierce little one has been punching and kicking with me some. AND, she loves the newest Shakeology flavor too ~ cafe latte made into a smoothie with a banana, unsweetened almond or cashew milk and all natural pb. I’ll take her asking for this as a snack any day vs. rice krispy bars and candy!
And, I’ll leave you with this. I’ve been fighting a cold again and there were several days already this week that I didn’t WANT to work out. I feel really tired and run down. But, I committed to starting this thing and finishing before Christmas so I’ve been sucking it up and pushing play every day. And, ya know what? I felt so much better each time after I did. Obviously you have to listen to your body when you’re sick ~ you know when you can push and when you need to rest. I believe I needed to push and I’m starting to feel better!
